JAMB 2025: Registration, Exam Dates, and Requirements
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the schedule for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Registration Period: Monday, February 3, 2025 – Wednesday, March 5, 2025
Mock Exam Date: Friday, March 7, 2025
UTME Exam Dates: Friday, April 18, 2025 – Monday, April 28, 2025
Registration Process
To register for JAMB 2025, candidates must follow these steps:
1. Create a JAMB Profile:
Send an SMS with “NIN (your NIN number)” to 55019 or 66019.
A 10-digit profile code will be sent to your phone.
2. Purchase the JAMB e-PIN:
Visit authorized banks, POS outlets, or online platforms to buy the e-PIN using your profile code.
The cost of the e-PIN and registration is usually around ₦4,700 (subject to confirmation).
3. Visit an Accredited CBT Center:
Provide your e-PIN and profile code to complete registration.
Biometric verification and passport photo capture will be done.
Select your preferred course and institution.
4. Obtain Registration Slip:
After completing the process, collect your printout, which contains your registration details, examination date, and venue.
Requirements for Registration
Candidates must have the following:
National Identification Number (NIN) – This is mandatory.
Valid phone number and email address – Used for communication.
O’Level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/GCE) – Either already obtained or awaiting results.
JAMB e-PIN – Purchased during registration.
Personal details – Including state of origin, local government area, and preferred course of study.
Additional Information
The mock exam is optional but recommended for candidates who want to familiarize themselves with the Computer-Based Test (CBT) environment.
Candidates should ensure their details are correctly filled in, as mistakes may require a correction process, which comes with additional fees.
